 Here is a little about me.  I have been doing all things Fly Fishing for over thirty years now. I started my Fly Fishing career in the late Nineties in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I worked in an area Fly Shop giving casting lessons and teaching Fly Fishing Classes. This led to guiding Fly Fishing trips on the Tellico Watershed and the Elk River .

Wanting to spend every available day on the water, I went on to work for several premier outfitters in East Tennessee as a professional fly fishing guide. In the fall of 2023, I took the leap to start my own independent business: Sharpe Fly Fishing. As a USCG licensed Captain, I am fully insured and licensed to guide clients across the region’s best tailwaters in East Tennessee and Kentucky.

My guided fly fishing trips focus heavily on the Clinch River, Cumberland River, and Holston River, targeting trophy brown trout and rainbow trout. Whether you are a beginner looking to master the basics of a fly cast or an experienced angler wanting to learn advanced river tactics, hatch matching, and water flows, I am dedicated to helping you succeed on your journey.
