Guided Fly Fishing Trip Facts
I Provide the following for each trip
Her are my Guided Fly Fishing Trip Facts. I like to make the process of fishing with me as simple as possible. Below is a breakdown of what I provide and what you will need to bring when you book a guided fly fishing trip with me.
On all of my trips I will provide all of the fly fishing gear you will need to pursue and catch fish. This includes all fly rods and reels that are tailored to each type of fly fishing we will be doing for the day. As well as Leaders, tippet strike indicators, flies, and anything else you can think of you will need for a day of fly fishing.
On All Full Day Guide Trips I provide a meat and two style lunch with desert. I provide waters and sparkling waters as well as sodas. I always carry plenty of snacks like mixed nuts or snack crackers or fruit to eat throughout the day as well.Â
On Half Day Guide Trips I provide snacks such as mixed nuts, snack crackers or fruit to eat throughout the day. I also provide waters, sparkling waters and sodas.Â
Make sure you bring the following with you
Please bring a valid fishing license to include a Trout Stamp for the state we will be fishing in. Fly Fishing is not as much fun when mother nature throws a lot at you. I suggest you bring a light fleece jacket, a good quality rain jacket, a good full brim hat or baseball style cap. Polarized sunglasses that fit your face well, quick dry apparel and a good quality sunscreen. All of these items can fit in one dry bag. This makes keeping up with your belongings pretty easy.
We are very fortunate to have year round fly fishing. Please dress accordingly for the weather. If you are fishing with me in the summer I suggest a good pair of river sandals or shoes you do not mind getting wet. When we are fishing in the winter I would suggest you bring a good pair of waders and wading boots to keep you warm and dry. I do not allow studded wading boots aboard any of my boats.
Meeting Times and Locations
I will call or text you the day prior to our fly fishing trip to discuss the meeting time and place. This is done based on the predicted water flows and conditions for the day of our trip. If the weather is going to be adverse or unsafe, or if the water flows are not going to be conducive for at least opportunities of catching fish, I reserve the right to reschedule our fly fishing trip at any time.Â
Please let me know if you or anyone in your party has food allergies or any medical conditions I need to be made aware of prior to our trip. If you have any special requests for lunches or snacks please let me know so I can try and accommodate you.
